====== Supplier Defect Report - adding comments and editing  ======

Once the **3D** section of the SDR is completed and verified by Bobcat Quality (there will be //Yes// next to the word //Verified//) an email will be sent to the choosen contacts in the Supplier record.

The SDR will also change color to blue in the //Dashboard// view. The blue color is also used to highlight that the SDR has been changed/updated since last user login. The highlighting only works in the //Dashboard// view.

Click on //detail// to further edit or update the SDR.


==== 3D ====

The **3D** section must be //Verified// by Bobcat Quality. The verification means Bobcat is satisfied with the ICA details provided by Supplier. If Supplier doesn't respond in time to the SDR Bobcat might choose to rework the defective parts. In this case the status //To be reworked// in section **2D** is changed to //Yes// and the SDR cost will be updated with the actual or expected rework cost.

The **4D** section of the SDR contains information about the Root Cause of the identified defect. The //Root Cause// is expected to be identified and verified by Supplier within **14 days** from //submit date//. This section also contains information about the date when the defective parts are either scrapped or sent back to Supplier. Once an invoice is issued for the SDR cost the inoice number will be displayed here.

To save your changes to the SDR it is important to trully SAVE the SDR. Saving is done by clicking on the //change// button.
